Me, Izzy and Remy are sick again with cold. Remy needs his nose sucked and after I do that, he gives me a smile. -Charla

Izzy was watching a cartoon talking about bees, she heard the word "sting" and said "bee stink!"

Izzy is putting 4 blankets and a hat on Remy, she's trying to figure out where to put the pillow. Izzy says "a baby warm, a baby night night, ssshhh"

Me: is Remy hungry? Zac: he's awake...

I gave Izzy a pair of scissors so she can learn to cut so we can start some serious crafting.

Snowing now

Someone's getting chunky.

Izzy asked Zac to make her a sailboat out of : a nipple guard; an arm to the crib carousel; a cloth diaper. Zac made her a boat of other things. When the boat was finished she called "pets where are you?" because the wonder pets (tv show) travel in a makeshift flying sailboat.

As I begin pumping milk Izzy turns up the cycle amounts and pump strength ans says "ready, set go!"

Izzy was watching a reading primer tv show. They featured the letter 'x' and Izzy promptly retrieved her 'x' magnets and blocks to show me.

Church had a baby shower for Remy today. They gave Izzy toys too. Izzy shared really well with the other children. When the children went to children's church, as we got ready to go home, Izzy was yelling "girl come play" down teh halls of the church.

Apple picking we found some huge pumpkins

Good day today: we took Izzy to walmart to get lion king cause she's been interested in the commercials. She watched almost all of it. Izzy asked "was-sat" about all the animals in the lion king every 2 seconds.

We got a pumpkin to carve with Izzy. I cut myself opening the top. This scared Izzy and she wouldn't have anything to do with the pumpkin.

She helped me make roasted pumpkin seeds and ate her share. We mixed seeds, brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice then roasted.

I made chicken curry for dinner and Izy enjoyed it-because she is the perfect child and enjoys exotic spices.

He sleeps alone fine in the daytime, but in the night time he requires a sleeping buddy.

Fatty

Baby Remy is 2 weeks old today. He weighs 10lbs 4 oz.

I was pumping milk. Izzy asks what I was doing and I explained to her. Then she got me her bike pump to help.

She's singing and dancing in the rain, so excited to be able to use the bella. at one point she was licking the bella.

Izzy: (grabbing her pooey diaper in the back) stinky off?

me: yes.

...after the shower she greets me at the door and says "stinky off?"

sleeping baby...its been a stressful day: Izzy got a shot, Remy got a heel stick for a pku test, then got circumcized (and didn't get any wine afterward)

Baby got circumcised today. It was a horrible experience for all and we will not be having any more baby boys.

Izzy wanted to play with a changing pad. I showed her that it was icky and she says "machine" and then puts it in the washer.

I have yet to get a cute picture of Izzy loving the baby. They're always at the wrong angle.

Baby is 9lb 12oz, so he's gained 1oz over his birth weight. Dr says he's over his jaundice (i think he still looks orange)

Izzy gives Remy lots of pettins and kisses and things to play with.

trying to figure out where he got his nose. Check out his little mohawk, he had it after his hair dried minutes after he came out, I think we'll keep it until he loses his hair or gets hair that we can't make into a mohawk.

By the way, the baby is named: Rembrandt Levi-Silas Fjord Lenz.

When we came home from the hospital and showed the baby to Izzy her first words were "hungry. baby. eat food."

Izzy keeps telling baby "come on" cause she wants him to come play with her.

Baby crying, Izzy tells him "lax, lax" just like Zac tells Izzy to "relax" when she gets fussy.

born at 2:20am. no medication. 9lbs 11.2oz, 21 inches.

sleeping. an hour old.

Izzy likes to play in her kitchen with water. Zac only gives her a non spill cup so izzy sucks the water out and spits it into her sink.

Izzy wakes up at 7. get her breakfast, put on her shows, when we aren't looking she decides to pour dish soap into the sink to make bubbles to wash dishes.

Went to dr baby is healthy, I am 3 cm dilated, hopefully baby will come in this next week. Izzy came 6 days after I was 3cm.

Izzy cant say "swiper no swiping" as in Dora the Explorer, so she holds out her hand and says "fok!" (as in "fox")

Izzy made chocolate chip cookies.

Izzy's lunch: pickle, cheese, onion, mustard. Zac informed me that this is a "plowman's lunch" a British delicacy. I told Zac it is missing saurkraut and beer... since we don't have beer he gave her some apple juice.

Izzy is still asleep after a day at the park with Zac.
