Every girl needs a Pedicure sometime!

I was watching Auntie Holly paint Mummy's toes. How intriguing!...coloring a body part (or 10) in such a way to make it look completely un-natural as a method of creating beauty. So I had to be part of this!

Here is my very first go at a pedi! YAY!!

So, here I am checking out the job.

Auntie Holly's job was satisfactory enough that I believe I will let her also paint my fingernails. I am so interested in this process that I will sit perfectly still (for a 13 month old) so that Auntie Holly can do her job.

Here we are blowing on my nails...cause you have to blow on them before you can taste them. Colors this pretty will no doubt taste just as nice as they look!

They do look just like berries!

Jars of Wild Flowers

I have an affinity for flowers.

All flowers.

They smell nicely.

They look pretty.

They feel nicely.

They taste nicely.

They will listen to you when you admire them.

We all like admiration.

Especially when we smell good.

I think this gerber daisy is my favorite.

So delicate.

And these are my favorite too.

It must come down to flavor.

And durability. Game over.

My Granny Lenz got me this book for my birthday.

It has kitties in it!

I love kitties!

And I know how old I am.

Summer fun, now that I'm One

Daddy just mowed the grass, and it just so happens to be a wonderful day to make puddles and play in grass clippings.

Aunt Heather's pool had a slight mishap with a raccoon, but it was nothing that some duct tape couldn't fix a la Red Green.

There is so much fun to have now that I am a bi-ped!

Happy Birthday to me: My Granny is a woman after my own heart

These are my new kitties that my Granny and Grampy gave to me for my birthday. I love kitties. And these kitties are soft, furry, and they don't run away from me. I fell asleep with these kitties snuggled up to me just like this after I was playing with them. No one posed me with these kitties.

I take my kitties with me everywhere.

Happy Birthday to Me: the fun

Since my birthday is in the summer, Aunty Heather bought me the perfect present...

She gave me a baby pool!

I had so much fun in this pool.

Splashing, splashing and splashing

And playing with my new pool toys that link together and squirt water.

Today was a wonderful day to have a pool

And to splash.

There are more presents, cake and fun to come, but we had to wait until the weekend to celebrate my birthday a second time, so that gramma and grampa could watch.
