Izzy wanted to play with a changing pad. I showed her that it was icky and she says "machine" and then puts it in the washer.

I have yet to get a cute picture of Izzy loving the baby. They're always at the wrong angle.

Baby is 9lb 12oz, so he's gained 1oz over his birth weight. Dr says he's over his jaundice (i think he still looks orange)

Izzy gives Remy lots of pettins and kisses and things to play with.

trying to figure out where he got his nose. Check out his little mohawk, he had it after his hair dried minutes after he came out, I think we'll keep it until he loses his hair or gets hair that we can't make into a mohawk.

When we came home from the hospital and showed the baby to Izzy her first words were "hungry. baby. eat food."

Izzy keeps telling baby "come on" cause she wants him to come play with her.

Baby crying, Izzy tells him "lax, lax" just like Zac tells Izzy to "relax" when she gets fussy.

born at 2:20am. no medication. 9lbs 11.2oz, 21 inches.

Izzy likes to play in her kitchen with water. Zac only gives her a non spill cup so izzy sucks the water out and spits it into her sink.

Izzy wakes up at 7. get her breakfast, put on her shows, when we aren't looking she decides to pour dish soap into the sink to make bubbles to wash dishes.

Went to dr baby is healthy, I am 3 cm dilated, hopefully baby will come in this next week. Izzy came 6 days after I was 3cm.

Izzy cant say "swiper no swiping" as in Dora the Explorer, so she holds out her hand and says "fok!" (as in "fox")

Izzy made chocolate chip cookies.

Izzy's lunch: pickle, cheese, onion, mustard. Zac informed me that this is a "plowman's lunch" a British delicacy. I told Zac it is missing saurkraut and beer... since we don't have beer he gave her some apple juice.

Izzy is still asleep after a day at the park with Zac.

1-2cm dilated, 75% effaced. baby is well. dr supportive of my birth plan including my desire not to have baby vaccinated.

Zac to Izzy: "take the duckies out of my clean laundry and that would be great."

Coniving izzy: #1 she took off her clean diaper - so that zac couldn't put it back on, she poured water and juice into it. #2 Izzy likes to eat ice out of Zac's tea but Zac told her "no" so Izzy put my hand over the cup and then moved my hand to give her the cup. (in the pic, she has just taken off her diaper, then put Zac's ice on the overturned container)

Its cool enough for Izzy to play outside. Zac dressed her in pants, socks, tennies and a sweatshirt so she'd be warm. She was so excited she ran down the hall with her arms in the air yelling "outside, outside!" but now she has decided she doesn't need pants and shoes and has stripped them off.

Zac let Izzy wash some dishes. He told her "scrub scrub" so she was washing while chanting "scub, scub, scub". then she discovered the vegi scrubbers and proceeded to brush her teeth with them.

By the way, Izzy's shots went well, after she got her sucker she was a very happy bouncy baby, she's nearing 35 lbs and almost 37 inches.

Its non-stop cuteness over here with Izzy. No work, all play... and cupcakes.

Izzy loves pecans. She asked Zac to open one, he was too slow, so Izzy bit through a pecan to open it.

Izzy saw a girl bottle feeding a pig on tv, so she's trying to bottle feed a toy rabbit.

Izzy likes to feed things, she gives scraps of food to her baby birds, her eggs and here shes giving her horsey a cupcake (pre-licked) and a leaf of lettuce.

Izzy got mad at Zac cause he took away her toothbrush so Izzy started calling for Ganny. Apparently mommy is not the one to call for.

Izzy takes showers after her bubble baths so she can bend over and wiggle her bottom under the water stream.

I lost my water bottle. Looking for it, Izzy says "scoomies waddy boddy" and gets my water from the shoebox she put it in and gives it to me. -Charla

Made cupcakes for pastors bday. Gave Izzy 1, she licks the frosting off then asks for more saying "more thankyou please"

Nurse comes in to give Izzy a shot. Izzy to nurse when Izzy sees the needle: "NO THANK YOU!"

When I teasing whine to Zac about different things, Izzy will tell me "alwight mommy" and pat me reassuringly. so sweet.

In other news, baby is full term today and can get out whenever he wants.

Pray for Izzy today, she gets a shot at 10am. When she gets into the dr's office she gets nervous.

I gave Izzy Nutella today, for the first time. I scooped a generous teaspoonful and handed it to her. She wouldn't take it but let me put it on her lip. She licked. After a couple seconds she grabbed the spoon and immediately ate a mouthful and requested more.

Zac went to dr today. Izzy got scared that she'd get a shot and tried to run. a nurse caught her, so Izzy asked for hugs from Zac. Charmer
